Greenwich Peninsula | Greenwich

Greenwich Peninsula is a 150-acre regeneration scheme in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, delivered in partnership between GLAP and Knight Dragon. It is one of GLAP’s largest and most significant strategic projects, transforming what was once Europe’s largest gasworks in a vibrant new mixed-use urban quarter and cultural destination.

The masterplan will see the delivery of up to 17,487 homes (30 per cent affordable by habitable room), alongside three new schools, healthcare and leisure facilities, and improved transport connections. Delivery to date includes:

  • 3,479 new homes (37 per cent affordable)
  • The Design District: 20,000 sqm of cultural and commercial space dedicated to the creative industry
  • A 4.9ha central Park, alongside improved Thames Path frontage and public realm
  • St Mary Magdalene All Through School
  • A site wide decarbonised heat network
