The Royal Albert Dock site offers up to 400,000 sqm of new development potential across a 12-hectare site in the Royal Docks. The scheme will deliver a neighbourhood at scale, supporting around 2,000 new homes, jobs and opportunities for innovation and growth.
A procurement opportunity, due to complete at the end of 2026, will appoint a new development partner to deliver a mixed-use scheme and create a hub for investment and enterprise. Proposals will capitalise on the site’s dockside setting, its rich context of green and blue space, and outstanding road, rail and air transport links. The site benefits from its strategic location next to anchor institutions and businesses – notably Excel London, the University of East London and London City Airport.
Located close to Canary Wharf and adjacent to the emerging Silvertown district, it benefits from strong momentum across the entire Royal Docks.
