Thameside West is a 5,000-home scheme on land owned jointly by GLAP and Silvertown Homes Limited, which is now part of Arada London, backed by the UAE based Arada Group. Located at the western end of the Royal Docks, Thameside West occupies one of the capital’s largest brownfield sites and will transform this strategic location into one of London’s largest and best‑connected waterfront neighbourhoods.
Plans include a new four acre park, a kilometre of active waterfront, alongside more than 15,000m² of strategic industrial land and a new DLR Station. Already awarded consent, Thameside West will see 1,000 homes delivered in the first stage of the project, with construction set to begin in 2027.
